I'm so excited! I got a new pair of shoes today....and I am in love! They are silver sequined Converse and they're the best shoes ever. Of course, not only did I take pics, but I had to play with those pics in photoshop! LOL! Lookie Lookie.....my two most favorite things, shoes and photoshop!!!

Yes, I scrapbook. well, actually I'm more of a creative type, do what comes to me, make all sorts of stuff kind of a gal...but whos counting!?! LOL! I recently got on a kick for making clipboards (which, by the way...i am totally over since making 50+ for friends).Here's some pics. Oh, and a recipe card...just for fun! ha!

The person that said "let's make a store of JUST m&m's!" is a genious! In November my husband and I went to Las vegas for the first time EVER! I was so excited...just to see everything, and be on vaction FINALLY! Anyhow, 3rd day we were there...we decided to walk The Strip...all the way down to the end(we were at Luxor). So we set off and to what did eyes appear??? The frekin m&m World Store!!! Ummm we were in there for about and hour, brought home all kinds of crap for our daughter, and Mommy even got m&m's to match...my scrap room!!(yes, I scrapbook, more on that later). Anyhow......YUM!

I've come to a realization....

in the last hour or so. I have realized that I like to take pictures of not-so-pretty things.LOL! That tree growing in your front yard, a dead leaf in the gutter, a crack in the sidewalk...the ordinary made beautiful and interesting....at least to me they are! And if I can make me happy...that's all that matters!lol

I was bored....so I took my daughter outside to play and dragged my camera along. She was running around and I noticed the pattern on the back of her jeans. I mean I've see it obviously...but I really looked at it. So...being the psycho that I am, I snapped a couple of pics of it!

A Gift....

This is my brother. For Christmas this year "we" (meaning, me) decided to give our mom pictures of us together. The last time we had our picture taken together I was 10, he was 5...so needless to say...it's been a while. Anyhow, these are a few of those pics that I took. There were very few taken of us together; I had to set up the tri-pod, set the self-timer, make sure everyone was set, then I had to run like the wind, gather myself (fix my hair) and wait for the falsh! LOL..its was a sight to see, no doubt.

My friend brought her kids over to play with mine and we ended up in the front yard taking family pictures. I enlarged one for her that she gave to her mother as a Christmas gift! I think they turned out nice for me not knowing what I'm doing!! lol

Christmas Pics

Yes, I know Christmas has come and gone....but I just pulled all these pics off my camera. I love the way my house looks at Christmas...so "homey". Warm and inviting (and usually the only time my house is spotless...shhhhh). Too bad I was in shorts, a t-shirt and flip-flops when I took these pictures!! Enjoy...lol.

Puppies!!!

So..I, having the "I gotta be the coolest mom EVER" syndrome that plagues us all at one point or another, thought "Let's get her a puppy for Christmas!". So...a friend of mine was giving away some Schnauzer/Dachshund puppies and I jumped at the opportunity for a free dog!(No, I'm not cheap...but hey, free is free! lol). The arrangements were made for me to come pick her up Christmas Eve after my daughter fell asleep so it would be a total surprise Christmas morning. I picked her up, came home...and wouldn't ya know it...my husband melted like a snowball in hell and asked, "do they have anymore?" so...that's how we ended up with 2 puppies!

"Santa" brought me a new digital SLR for Christmas....I have harassed my child, my husband, our puppies, inanimate objects...whatever would stay still long enough for the "click". I have always loved pictures; taking them, looking at other people's work...doesn't matter. There is something about it that I love. I think I have an "eye" for it...but who knows?...or cares? lol! Actually, I would do this for the rest of my life if I could...just need to get through Algebra! Damn those equations!! Anyhow, I figured for now, "hey...why not a blog?". Well...here it goes.
